Payakumbuh, Suarapribumi.co.id — Pemerintah Kota Payakumbuh terus mendorong peningkatan kesadaran hukum di kalangan pelajar. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kehadiran langsung Wali Kota Zulmaeta dalam acara peluncuran Program “Jaksa Mengajar” yang digelar Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Payakumbuh di SMKN 3 Payakumbuh, Selasa (29/7/2025).
Program ini menjadi langkah strategis Kejari Payakumbuh dalam mengedukasi generasi muda mengenai hukum dan keadilan. Melalui sinergi bersama Dinas Pendidikan, Jaksa Mengajar bertujuan menanamkan pemahaman hukum sejak dini serta memperkenalkan peran penting Kejaksaan dalam sistem peradilan Indonesia.
Wali Kota Zulmaeta menyampaikan apresiasi tinggi atas inisiatif edukatif tersebut. Ia menilai, pelajar perlu mendapatkan pemahaman hukum agar mampu membentengi diri dari berbagai bentuk pelanggaran seperti narkoba, perundungan, dan kejahatan digital.
“Program Jaksa Mengajar ini sangat relevan dan penting. Edukasi hukum sejak usia dini merupakan investasi berharga untuk masa depan. Pemahaman yang baik akan hukum menjadikan pelajar lebih siap menghadapi tantangan sosial,” ujar Zulmaeta di hadapan siswa, guru, dan jajaran Kejaksaan.
Zulmaeta menegaskan, program ini tidak hadir untuk menakut-nakuti pelajar, melainkan untuk memberi pencerahan dan pemahaman yang membentuk kesadaran hukum secara menyeluruh.
“Program ini adalah sahabat yang memberi pencerahan. Jika Ananda mengenal hukum, maka Ananda tahu batasan, mengerti konsekuensi, dan bisa melindungi diri serta orang lain dari perbuatan yang merugikan,” tambahnya.
Lebih lanjut, Wali Kota memastikan Pemko Payakumbuh mendukung penuh pelaksanaan Jaksa Mengajar agar menjangkau lebih banyak sekolah. Ia berharap kegiatan ini dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, dan sadar hukum.
“Sebagaimana warga Payakumbuh peduli menjaga kebersihan lingkungan hingga kita raih Adipura, semangat serupa harus kita terapkan dalam menjaga kebersihan jiwa dan pergaulan dari pelanggaran hukum. Ini selaras dengan falsafah Adat Basandi Syara’, Syara’ Basandi Kitabullah,” tuturnya.
Kepala Kejaksaan Negeri Payakumbuh, Ulil Azmi, menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya akan menurunkan langsung jaksa fungsional ke sekolah-sekolah. Para jaksa akan membawakan materi yang relevan dan dekat dengan kehidupan pelajar.
“Kami akan membahas isu seperti penyalahgunaan narkoba, bullying, kejahatan siber, etika bermedia sosial, serta dasar hukum pidana dan perdata. Tujuannya agar siswa tidak hanya cerdas akademik, tapi juga peka secara hukum,” jelas Ulil.
Kegiatan launching ditandai dengan pemukulan gong secara simbolis oleh Wali Kota Zulmaeta bersama Kajari Ulil Azmi dan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumbar, Barlius. Turut hadir Kepala Cabang Dinas Pendidikan Wilayah IV Sumbar, Syafruddin, Kepala Sekolah SMKN 3 Payakumbuh Wismarni, jajaran guru, serta ratusan siswa.
Dengan diluncurkannya program ini, Pemko Payakumbuh berharap generasi muda dapat tumbuh menjadi pelopor kesadaran hukum di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat luas. Pemerintah optimistis, kolaborasi edukatif ini akan memperkuat karakter pelajar yang berintegritas serta berwawasan hukum. (MC)
